Embedding web fonts with a large file size (3mb or more)

Using embedded fonts to help maintain the uniqueness of a designers website is tricky. Font Squirrel was the web 2.0 solutions for mosts designers today. With Font Squirrel you can download a prepackaged font-face kit with a demo.html file included that gives you step by step instructions on how to embed a web font in your website using the css @font-face attribute and also generates code helpful HTML.

Unfortunately i needed to use the generator to embed a custom font to my website. When i began to upload the font the generator gave me a notice in a red pop up window with a fancy red "x" informing me that my font .oft file was to large (3.6 mb) to process. So i began looking for other FREE web font converter/sgenerators that were'nt so file size sensitive and came across Free Font Converter.com and http://onlinefontconverter.com.

Free Font Converter  and Online Font Converter are easy as 1-2-3, just find the font file, select the format you want to convert to and presto! Check your downloads folder or location and your newly converted font should be there. The only difference between Font Squirrel and Free Font Converter is that Free Font Converter is manual and doesn't auto generate @font-face css and html code or host fonts.

Here are some free online font converter sites i came across (File size sensitive!!)
